Look how big my little man is getting! Amazing! Seeding are going into and growing in the garden. Little girls are getting more independent every day, which means lots of teaching. Lots of eggs, the hope of lots of chicks hatched this year (two hens are setting right now, one on 20 eggs and the other on 8), and one hatched already (there were two the first day Mama Hen appeared with them, and only one the next day, but The One is still here so that is great!). It’s truly a busy time of year. I have dreams of all sorts of interesting and useful posts, which will probably never get written, and in the mean time a fussy boy needs me and so does a dirty kitchen.

Such sweet pictures of all the kids! My favorite is C washing eggs. You have/are doing such an amazing job training your children to help work! You are an inspiration to me. 🙂

The general consensus around the breakfast table is that is one cute baby!

Do your girls claim ownership of the “baby eggs”, squeal, and carry them around like they’re a dolly or something?
